Dr. B. A. Bahroo, MD is a diplomate of the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry. He board-certified in adult, addictions, and forensic psychiatry upon completion of Psychiatry residency at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School, fellowship in Forensic psychiatry at SUNY-Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York, and fellowship in Addiction psychiatry at University of Maryland in Baltimore. He has worked as an inpatient staff psychiatrist at St. Elizabeths Hospital and later joined Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C., folowed by Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Bethesda, Maryland. As a staff psychiatrist at Walter Reed for 15 years, he introduced weekly music therapy, movie groups, and yoga programs for the patients enrolled in the day treatment program. He held journal club meetings for the psychiatry residents at WRNMMC. He is an assistant professor in psychiatry at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and precepts medical students. He is certified in transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and auricular acupuncture. He worked as a staff psychiatrist and a Director of Interventional Medicine for TMS and Spravato (Esketamine) at Columbia Associates in Psychiatry in Arlington, Virginia for 4 years. He is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Addictive Diseases. Dr. Bahroo is the recipient of the LTG Claire L. Chennault 2020 Award for Outstanding Psychiatry Faculty. He has presented at several annual meetings of the American Psychiatric Association. His interests are in exploring Nutrition and its effects on the Brain and Mind. He speaks fluent English, Hindi and Sindhi, and has a working knowledge of Urdu, Marathi and Gujarati. He has medical licenses to provide services in DC, MD and VA.

Dr. Bouchard is a general psychiatrist who provides care to adults ages 18 and older struggling with various issues that include depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, and psychotic disorders. He has particular clinical interests in ADHD, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. He believes that the first step towards healing starts with establishing a warm and trustworthy relationship and building upon that with evidence-based medications and psychotherapy. Dr. Bouchard’s practice is largely through telemedicine, though he does offer in-person appointments on a limited basis, specifically for initial assessments. Dr. Bouchard completed his residency in psychiatry at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and served on active duty for eight years providing consultation and advice to senior military leaders, and providing care to active-duty service members, their families, and veterans. After separating from the military, he served for three years as the medical director of Behavioral Health in the Southwest region of Washington State for Providence Medical Group. Dr. Bouchard is board certified with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Dr. Shaveta Goyal is a Primary and Urgent Care Physician practicing in Fairfax, Virginia. Dr. Goyal is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Goyal works closely with her patients and collaborates with other providers for comprehensiveness. She does not rush her patients and makes sure their concerns are heard and understood, generating a care plan personalized to their needs. Dr. Goyal treats every patient as if they are part of her family. Dr. Goyal did her internship in Family Medicine at SIU School of Medicine, Springfield, IL followed by Residency program at Altru Family Medicine Residency, Grand Forks, ND. Dr. Goyal recently completed UCI School of Medicine Train New Trainers (TNT) Primary Care Psychiatry Fellowship which helped her receive advanced training in primary care psychiatry. She has a special interest in women mental health while treating a wide variety of patients across the spectrum. He treats a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, OCD, PTSD, and ADHD, among others. Dr. Rankin’s focus is medication management; however, he pays careful attention to underlying psychodynamic issues in order to fully appreciate the whole person, and he routinely refers to psychotherapy as appropriate. He believes in a collaborative and patient-centered approach to care and recognizes that each individual is unique. He offers a safe and comfortable space for patients to discuss difficult issues without fear of judgment or bias, and he appreciates the importance of close, compassionate listening to overall treatment success. Dr. Rankin attended medical school at Albany Medical College in upstate New York and completed his residency at Mt. Sinai-St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. He also completed a visiting fellowship in Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) at Duke University and has several years of experience administering ECT as an alternative treatment modality for depression. Dr. Rankin has been practicing in northern Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic region for the past 8 years and has been recognized in Northern Virginia Top Doctors and Arlington Top Doctors magazines. His treatment philosophy is one of mutual respect and understanding, that emphasizes patient autonomy in deciding on treatment options such as medication, therapy, or lifestyle and behavioral changes. He utilizes mindfulness and meditation, cognitive behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic therapy techniques in visits. Dr. Jain routinely works collaboratively with other physicians and therapists for a team centered approach. Dr. Jain’s warm demeanor allows for a positive therapeutic alliance and partnership on the path to wellness. Dr. Jain went to medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated residency training from Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. His training in Camden allowed him to feel comfortable working with a patient population both diverse in ethnicity and socioeconomic status. Dr. Jain’s clinical interest lies in the intersection between bipolar disorder and PTSD, as well as the coming use of psychedelic assisted psychotherapy. In his free time Dr. Jain enjoys hiking, backpacking, playing tennis and golf, and spending time with his family and friends.

Harish Goyal, MD, is a psychiatrist providing care to adolescents, adults, and elderly patients at Inspire Behavioral Health. The practice has two locations: Vienna, Virginia, and Cumberland, Maryland.
Dr. Goyal has a vast array of clinic interests: mood and anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, ADHD, and substance use disorders, particularly alcohol and opioid disorders. Dr. Goyal specializes in eating disorders and treats patients in the reflections eating disorder unit at Dominion Hospital in Falls Church, Virginia, where he has supervised psychiatry residents from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Dr. Goyal strongly believes in a multidisciplinary approach, utilizing psychopharmacology in combination with psychotherapy. He completed his residency in psychiatry at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota, where he served as the chief resident during the fourth year. Dr. Dev received her psychiatric training in adult psychiatry from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and completed her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship training at UPMC and Johns Hopkins Hospital. She has several years of experience treating patients of all ages. She spent 15 years working with active-duty service members, their families, and children at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, both inpatient and outpatient. She also supervised medical students and residents. After leaving Fort Belvoir, she worked briefly for Mid Atlantic Permanente Medical Group before joining Inspire Behavioral Health. Dr. Dev possesses extensive experience in diagnosing and treating various mental health conditions such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and psychotic disorders. She believes in working with patients in partnership, actively listening to their concerns, and identifying the best treatment options for each individual patient. Her goal is to provide evidence-based treatment and help patients achieve maximum reduction of symptoms with the fewest medication side effects. Her philosophy is combining judicious use of medications with holistic approaches like stress reduction, mindfulness practices, psychotherapy, and behavior modifications in order to offer the best outcomes. He delivers patient-centered and compassionate care, leveraging his knowledge of psychiatric medicine to help individual patients with their unique needs and circumstances. He believes in creating a safe and respectful treatment environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their concerns and collaborating on the assessment of risks and benefits of different treatment options. Before joining Inspire Behavioral Health, he worked as a medical officer for the Food and Drug Administration’s Division of Pharmacovigilance on drug safety issues. He previously worked for Kaiser Permanente Mid-Atlantic, where he was recognized by Washingtonian magazine as one of the area’s top doctors. His experience also includes work at the Veterans Health Administration hospitals in Atlanta and Washington, DC, where he was actively involved in training medical students, psychiatric residents and fellows at Emory University and the Morehouse School of Medicine. Dr. Wu attended Albany Medical College, and he completed a general psychiatry residency and geriatric psychiatry fellowship at Emory University. Currently, Dr. Wu conducts the majority of his practice through telemedicine, though he offers in-person appointments as well.

I have been working in the field of psychiatry as a Registered Nurse since 2012 and have a solid background in psychiatry working with adults in various settings, including inpatient care to community mental health and substance abuse treatment. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Washington Adventist University. I later went on to Graduate School at George Mason University where I pursued a Doctor of Nursing Degree (DNP) to advance my knowledge further in such a rewarding field. My focus is to assess, diagnose and treat. My expertise is in the treatment of adults with depression, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, ADHD, PTSD, Insomnia, and substance addiction. I believe in creating an individualized plan of care that values patient involvement, interprofessional collaboration, and evidence-based practice. My goal for my patients is to feel empowered to treat their illnesses through supportive education in a stigma-free environment. A patient can expect their initial visit to include a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, determination of treatment goals, and education about diagnosis and available treatment options. I have the pleasure of working alongside many skilled and experienced clinicians and am happy to collaborate and coordinate care with them when appropriate to the patient’s needs.
