Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Sarah is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She is a graduate of Tulane University School of Social Work, where she built her clinical foundation providing community-based support and advocacy to New Orleanians affected by violence. Sarah has most recently served the adult mental health population as a level III clinician at both inpatient and partial hospitalization program settings in Northern Virginia. She has been a clinician for 16 years, specializing in implementing the phasic model of trauma recovery treatment to those impacted by generational trauma, PTSD, CPTSD, grief, anxiety, depression, and interpersonal challenges arising from the impact of one’s past. Sarah tailors her intervention to the uniqueness of individuals while supporting the process of self-study through education of symptomology, self-regulation strategies, attuning to and building internal resources while creating an adaptive coping toolkit to aid and improve one’s overall functionality.

Sarah is dedicated to providing wholistic, client-centered, strengths-based modalities to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Solution-Focused Therapy as well as honoring and implementing elements of mindfulness and somatic related philosophies. Sarah is a LGBTQ+ affirming clinician currently offering both in-person and telehealth appointments to adults. Sarah is certified by the ASWB to provide board approved clinical supervision to graduates of a master’s degree in social work pursuing clinical licensure.
