Marketa is a resident counselor who received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the State University of New York in 2013 and received her Master of Clinical Social Work degree from George Mason University in 2023.
Marketa utilizes an eclectic approach including cognitive behavioral, dialectic, psychodynamic, and mindfulness. She has experience working with individuals with adjustment issues, anxiety, depression, mood disorderd, relationship and family issues, stress, trauma, and navigating life’s challenges and transitions. She is committed to engaging with clients in an authentic therapeutic relationship while designing treatment and assisting with accomplishment of goals.
She is currently enrolled in the Psychoanalytic Fellowship Program at the Washington Baltimore Center for Psychoanalysis in Washington, D.C broadening her knowledge and expertise in psychoanalytic therapy.
Marketa provides services for anyone age 18 and older and is currently offering telehealth appointments. She is working towards her licensure to be an LCSW and is registered with the Virginia Board of Social Work. Marketa provides therapy services under the supervision of Miss Andrea Lankford, LCSW.
